Every time I come here the food is great and the service is as well !! I always recommend for football games or a quick dinner.
Smaller than I expected, smaller than most Roosters locations. Street parking, which was fine on Monday at 1pm but will be crazy at peaks. I like their standard wings, but Monday turned out to be half price boneless, so... And they have a small "test menu" off to the side, with a few variations on standard items, plus a couple of new sauce flavors, garlic parm and mango habanero. Of course I had to try those, and they let me split an order of 10 half and half. Also got onion petals, you know, to have some veggies. Those are always good: crispy, with a nice seasoned sauce. The boneless wings were huge, and tender, and crisped on the outside nicely. Look to be hand cut here. The garlic parmesan sauce was a good rendition, as good as other restaurants. The mango habanero was also good: sweet with a fair amount of heat. Service was excellent, though they seemed pretty busy. All the staff were humping, and my server checked back often. Prices are reasonable, at least for the specials! Lots of things on the menu so a big group would all be satisfied.
I returned to Rooster's in German Village for the first time in 20 years. They will make the best wings ever. My black and blue salad was equally delicious. The server was good. It's also one of only a few affordable restaurants in that neighborhood.
It's roosters. Need I say more? There are no white table clothes but when I need something that they have to offer. They have it in a quick manner and with a smile. I am a consistent wing purchaser.
When we lived in the village, we would go to the GV roosters all the time and then go walk/stumble around schiller park. It is cozy and warm, great service and great food.
Roosters is exactly what you think it is - except better. Stopped in during the Kentucky Derby to drink a few beers and eat a few wings and was overwhelmed with joy by the selection, tasty indulgence of the food, and pricing. Firstly, their $4 featured pints were Oberon - this was great and I very happily drank 2. Wings are fried and crunchy and satisfying, the Carolina Gold sauce was very nice. Rooster's Nest is a giant pile of curly fries with queso, wings, and sauce - just wow. Lastly, the fried cauliflower was completely encased in crunchy fried, no longer resembling a vegetable at all - perfect. If you eat here everyday, make no mistake, you will die of heart disease. But, if you come here every now and then you will live your absolute best life. Get over yourself and get on over to ROOSTERS!!
Limited parking & limited seating, as this location is nested in Columbus' beautiful German Village. Awesome location. Great service, clean space. Food comes out fast and correct. No complaints! Not the best location for large groups, rather more for small parties 2-4. Great TV selection.
